Mill Wood Pleasure Garden Restoration , Halswell Park, Goathurst, Somerset
The Halswell Park Trust has been working with various owners of Mill Wood and other statutory and charitable organisations, over a number of years, to identify ways in which this beautiful and important heritage might be conserved and accessed by members of the public.
In 2013 the House and grounds were purchased by a new owner. He laso acquired Mill Wood in 2014. He intends to restore this Estate and plans to open approriate parts to the public when it is ready to do so. Restoration work has Already begun
The Halswell Park Trust hope to be able to work with the new owner of the Estate as restoration progresses so that public will have appropriateaccess
